The United Way of Clinton County, Iowa’s latest campaign update has shown progress closer toward their $650,000 goal. At this time last year, they were at 66% of goal. The majority of contributions are raised through Workplace Giving campaigns, where employees have their gifts deducted from their paychecks. Due to local job losses and financial hardships, some regular donors are understandably no longer able to give this year. Families who’ve never asked for help before are now seeking assistance from the agencies that we support, for help with rent, food and utility bills.
United Way fights for financial stability, health and wellness, and education/youth success of every person in our community. Contributions help local families by investing in programs at partner agencies such as Information, Referral, & Assistance, Clinton YWCA Housing Assistance/Empowerment Center, and DeWitt Referral Center. Change can’t happen alone.
Please make a gift to United Way today to help us support the increased needs in our communities! Any contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.
