United Way of Clinton County, Iowa (UWCCI) has committed to provide funding Mentor Clinton County programs through 2021, as part of its Health & Wellness initiatives. Previously known as Big Brothers & Big Sisters, the Mentor Clinton County (MCC) programs work with at-risk children in the surrounding areas, providing one-to-one mentoring through adult and high school youth volunteers.

United Way of Clinton County, Iowa (UWCCI) funding has helped support the Skyline Center’s Supportive Employment Program for more than 30 years. The 2021 funding award of $29,665 will be used to serve individuals that are underfunded by Medicaid coverage for their needs to help them apply, train and retain jobs, giving them a sense of pride, and be a part of society that works to pay their bills. 

KROS hosted their Annual Golf Classic at Fulton Country Club, 20727 Cattail Road in Fulton, IL, on Friday August 7th, with proceeds to benefit United Way of Clinton County, Iowa (UWCCI). 98 golfers turned out to support UWCCI and play for a range of prizes donated by local businesses.
