For some families in Clinton County, the recent COVID-19 outbreak has made it even harder to take care of basic needs. Many families lived paycheck to paycheck before this crisis and hovered just above the poverty line.

United Way of Clinton County, Iowa (UWCCI) is closely monitoring the local situation from day-to-day in these rapidly changing times. Currently the UWCCI office remains open and is consulting regularly with Clinton County non-profit assistance agencies in our network, in case that additional emergency funding may be required to meet community needs during this crisis.
2020 Census: Count All Kids
Census materials have begun arriving at homes throughout the country, and advocates are sending a simple message: count all babies, toddlers and young children.
Clinton Middle School 'Coins for Clinton' to Benefit UWCCI
Clinton Middle School students have set a $16,500 goal to benefit the United Way of Clinton County, Iowa (UWCCI). After the first two weeks of activities, the students and teachers have already raised $6500, with just two weeks left to go. If the students reach their goal, teachers will participate in a spaghetti slide and rap battles, amongst other celebratory activities. Teacher Eric Slocum, a lead organizer behind the fundraisers, has also pledged to cut off his man-bun.
